Rock 'n' Roll Tour
Rock 'n' Roll Tour in East and Greenwich Village
If music is the lifeblood of New York, then rock 'n' roll is its heartbeat. Find out where popular musicians used to play concerts, where they lived, shopped, and shot album covers. This original walking tour travels from the historic East Village and to perhaps even more legendary Greenwich Village. We’ll trace where musicians like The Ramones, John Lennon, Madonna, Bob Dylan, David Bowie, The Velvet Underground, Iggy Pop and many others spent formative and historic years. Many of the attractions of this walk have changed their look -- some are unrecognizable -- but the memories continue to inspire young musicians and music-lovers to this day.
